An Elevated Non-Alcoholic Cocktail 🍹



Inspired by Jay Sanders' original Sound & Fury recipe from Wild Child, Shawnee, Kansas



Ingredients (Serves 1) 📝


Base:

  • 1 oz carrot juice, fresh-pressed 🥕
  • 1 oz mango juice 🥭
  • ½ oz tomatillo juice 🟢
  • ½ oz habanero-infused vinegar (recipe below) 🌶️
  • ½ oz agave nectar 🍯
  • ¼ oz fresh lime juice 🍋
  • 3 droppers 24k Gold SHAKE (cannabis-infused) 🌿✨
  • 2 pinches Maldon sea salt 🧂


Garnish:

  • Spiced candied mango (optional) 🥭🔥
  • Edible 24k gold flakes (optional) ✨
  • Fresh cilantro sprig (optional) 🌿


Directions 👨‍🍳


  1. Prepare the base: In a cocktail shaker, combine the carrot juice, mango juice, tomatillo juice, habanero vinegar, agave nectar, lime juice, and salt. 🥄
  2. Add the 24k Gold SHAKE: Pour in the 24k Gold SHAKE and fill the shaker with ice. ✨🧊
  3. Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well-chilled and properly integrated. 💪🏼
  4. Pour: Transfer the entire contents of the shaker, including ice, into a footed glass or tiki mug. 🍹
  5. Top with crushed ice: Add a generous mound of crushed ice to create a dome effect. ⛰️
  6. Garnish: Place a piece of spiced candied mango on top, sprinkle with edible 24k gold flakes, and add a fresh cilantro sprig for aromatics. ✨🌿





Habanero-Infused Vinegar 🌶️🔥


Ingredients:

  • 1 fresh habanero pepper 🌶️
  • 500 ml white wine vinegar 🍶


Method:

Traditional (No Sous-Vide):

  1. Finely chop the habanero pepper, including seeds for maximum heat 🔪
  2. Combine with white wine vinegar in a clean glass jar 🫙
  3. Seal and let steep at room temperature for 24-48 hours, tasting periodically ⏳
  4. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth 💧
  5. Store in a sealed bottle in the refrigerator for up to 3 months ❄️

Sous-Vide Method: 🌡️

  1. Chop the habanero pepper 🔪
  2. Combine with vinegar in a vacuum-seal bag or mason jar 🫙
  3. Cook sous-vide at 45°C (113°F) for 1 hour ⏱️
  4. Strain and refrigerate 💧❄️


Spiced Candied Mango 🥭🌶️


Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe mango, sliced into thin strips 🥭
  • ½ cup granulated sugar 🍬
  • ¼ cup water 💧
  • 1 tsp Tajín seasoning or chamoy powder 🌶️
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper 🔥


Method:

  1. Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan, heat until sugar dissolves 🔥
  2. Add mango strips and simmer for 5-7 minutes until slightly translucent ⏱️
  3. Remove mango and place on a cooling rack over parchment paper 📄
  4. While still sticky, dust with Tajín and cayenne ✨
  5. Let dry for 2-4 hours until tacky but not wet ⏰
  6. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week 🫙
